Harry has done a couple of jobs in my house, installing in a new ceiling above a bay window, and diagnosing and repairing a major damp problem. His work is excellent, with real attention to detail, and I will definitely be using him again.

You can trust all the other reviews - Harry and his team do high quality work, have great communication, and work hard over long days to get the job done. Would definitely recommend! For us they installed load bearing wall supports from a structural engineers plan, and plastered it after sign off from building controls. All went smoothly with no issues and we'll definitely use Oxford Direct Builders again.

Looking for the removal of two internal walls and a window contacted Hajri of Oxford Direct Builders - I was very impressed that he ensured that he fully understood what I required and by his attention to detail in obtaining bricks to match the existing - I extended the work to include the replacement of a wall and garden gate - I am delighted with the finished work completed to a high standard and that Hajri always left everything clean and tidy

This is the second time I've had Hari carry out work and once again he has smashed it, highly recommended.

Harry did building work for me, which consisted of building cupboards - both decorative as well as practical - and repairing and damproofing a fireplace. I was very pleased with both the quality of the work and the thoroughness and attention to detail. He always did a very thorough clean-up, even when returning the next day, and was polite and helpful. I would highly recommend him.

Have used these guys twice now for a variety of bigger and smaller jobs involving plumbing, tiling, fitting etc and have asked them to quote on three further jobs. Harry replaced a gutter and capped a fascia for us. All done very neatly and he tidied up really well afterwards too.

Harry fitted internal doors for us and stripped out a large internal glass window and re-plastered the wall. It was a fiddly enough job that wasn't straightforward. We're delighted with the finished product, and the service along the way. Harry is meticulous, efficient and professional. He kept us updated on progress throughout and was keen to ensure we were happy with each stage of the work. This was the second job he's done for us. We throughly recommend him.

Hajri (aka Harry) did a wonderful job installing floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in our back bedroom and adjusting a door so that it would actually close for the first time in 25 years. He was precise, serious, and very efficient. He checked with me at the different stages of the job; both my wife and I were thrilled with the results. The price he quoted was very good value. I would gladly hire him again in future and would be confident that Oxford Direct Builders could take on much more complex work.

Harry has just completed the tiling of our large balcony. It was beautifully done. Harry is a lovely guy, reliable and very polite. Couldn't have been more pleased. He can also put his hand to many other jobs and fibreglassed another balcony for us too. Would definitely recommend.
